The food is lovely, with big portions at very reasonable prices. There’s also a good choice of beers, and it’s a great place to watch a game/sports with plenty of screens around. Lovely pub with a great atmosphere, highly recommend.

Myself and my family have been here a few times now and we wouldn’t come back if we weren’t satisfied!! We tend to go different places every Saturday but The Quarry Bank is most definitely one of our favourites!! Food is always amazing, staff are always friendly and inviting! The prices are also very very reasonable!! Such a little gem tucked away. The landlady is also very hands on, always checking if everyone is ok, food is delivered on time and making sure her staff are on the ball! Just a lovely place to dine and chill.

Staff went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable as my mum is disabled. Food was lovely. The only thing I didn't like was the minted lamb burger, the combo was weird it had an onion baji, poppadoms and curry sauce on the burger in the bun :/ haha never mind, the rest was delicious

*** Revision of my previous review which was out of date by some years (sorry owner ). *** A great community local and very welcoming to everyone. Multiple TV screens showing sport and a great atmosphere The restaurant area, is quieter for dining, with table service and the food is delicious. The beer is Hydes and a great variety too of choice cask ales, which are all kept excellently, along with a good selection of other drinks. Nice comfortable outside drinking area overlooking a well kept bowling green. Staff professional and friendly. Look out for special events and offers on their website. A great pub all round. Well worth a visit.

Last visited about 10 years ago but used to come here back in 1974/75 when I lived locally. Flic on his first visit. Lovely Hydes pub with bowling green to rear and thus lots of outdoor seating. Good pint of Hopster, one of up to five Hydes real ales. Large open pub spread around the central bar. Flic likes this pub.
